به نماینده گی دانشجویان دانشکده ژورنالیزم پوهنتون کابل مراتب نفرت و انزجار خویش را در واکنش به قتل وقیحانه خبرنگار جوان، هم مسلک صادق، با شهامت و مستعد صمد روحانی را از جانب دشمنان آزادیهای بیان، فرهنگ حقوق شهروندی و روند توسعه کشور ابراز میداریم.  این اقدام خلاف تمامی موازین بشری بوده که نمایانگر چهره منفور و عملکرد غیر انسانی و اسلامی عاملین آن است.  

رشادت و سر سپرده گی این خبرنگار جوان برای انعکاس واقعیت ها و وقایع بخصوص در ولایت نا آرام هلمند الگوی بس ارزنده برای نسل در حال پرورش ژورنالیزم کشور است. نسل جوان ژورنالیزم این حادثه المناک را به خانواده شهید صمد روحانی، دیگر خانواده های مدافعین ارزشهای آزادی بیان، خانواده ژورنالیزم کشور و دست اندرکاران فعال و کارای بی بی سی برای افغانستان تسلیت گفته و همنوایی خویش را ابراز میدارد. 

دانشجویان دانشکده ژورنالیزم کابل متعهد است تا با پایداری و استقامت و بدون تزلزل از چنین عملکرد های وقیحانه راه صمد روحانی و دیگر مدافعین ارزشهای مدنی را تعقیب نموده و خاطره ایشان را زنده نگهدارد.

Statement 

Students of Faculty of Journalism

Kabul University 

The students of faculty of journalism of Kabul University condemn the cruel killing of Mr. Samad Rohani, the young and professional journalist of British Broadcasting Center in Helmand province. We believe this is against all human principles and reflect the cruelty and anti-Islamic actions of those involved in this brutal act. 

Journalists in Afghanistan have been paying an unacceptable toll for their right to practice their profession and for the right of Afghans and Foreigners alike to receive independent information. 

Such actions will never intimidate and discourage the students of this faculty to pursue their will in following the foot steps of Samad Rohani. With the martyrdom of Mr. Rohani and others who were the victims of their right to practice their profession, the enthusiasm to fight intolerable injustice and brutality and uphold freedom of expression will further increase and expand among classes of the new journalism students all across Afghanistan. We present our heartfelt condolences to family of Mr. Rohani, family of Journalism in Afghanistan, courageous colleagues of BBC and the defenders of human rights and principles of civil society.
